Puma is a German manufacturer of sports footwear, clothing and accessories, and its headquarters are located in Herzogenaurach in Germany. The history of the Puma brand begins in 1924 with the brothers Rudolf Dassler and Adolf Dassler.

The Dassler brothers founded the company Gebrüder Dassier Schuhfabrik or (Dassler brothers shoe factory) in 1924, but in 1948 they separated, forming two independent companies. Rudolf Dassler named his company Ruda and his brother Adolf Dassler created the company Adidas . Later the Ruda company was renamed Puma.

In 2017, the company had about 11,389 employees. Therefore, Puma is present in more than 120 countries and is the third largest supplier of sports equipment worldwide.

His specialization has always been sneakers. In fact, we can mention that this company was a pioneer in the manufacture of footwear for soccer players and Olympic athletes. But in subsequent years the company has evolved territorially and in terms of product range.
