Obey is a company created by the designer and urban artist Frank Shepard Fairey , born February 15, 1970 in Charleston, South Carolina, is an American urban artist and graphic designer, famous for his stickers with the image of the television wrestler André the Gigante and for its designs that take elements of political propaganda posters from the mid-20th century.

The company's logo became an urban cultural movement, being a reference for the propaganda posters that characterize the brand. Obey transferred the design of its logos and graffiti to the clothing and boards it currently manufactures. Obey has become one of the most iconic brands in the world of Skateboarding.
